Guests are picked up at all major hotels in Bangkok according to our pick up route described in the terms and conditions. We then transfer by a/c bus southwards to start our bicycle exploration of the Mae Klong Delta area at Damnoen Nam Saduak floating market, the biggest and most colorful in Thailand. Starting with a long tail boat ride to Wat Amphawan Chetiyaram, our ride takes us through coconut, aloe vera planations and fruit orchards. Riding quiet back roads and jeep trails we stop to visit temples and appreciate the countryside. We have a Thai lunch at a riverside restaurant on the banks of the Mae Klong before cycling back to the floating market, to end the trip.

Trip Profile

This is a gentle 30 kilometre ride along country backroads and is suitable for anyone that can ride a bike. The roads are flat, quiet countryside trails filled with planations that produce many of mounth watering fruits that Thailand is famous for.

We ride as a group, with an experienced SpiceRoads cycle fuide setting a gentle pace. Stopping often to visit points of interest, we also take the opportunity to sample some of the local food. Our support vehicle follows close behide with plenty provisions. Our guides are knowledgeable on the local area and customs and explain the history, culture and local way-of-life each time we stop.

Water, soft drinks and snacks are all included as well as lunch and SpiceRoads supplies a TREK mountain bike and helmet.
