4 DAYS CHIANG MAI - SUKOTHAI - PHITSANULOKE
Starting in Chiang Mai this tour will provide the highlights of 3 important towns of North Thailand. During 2 days in Chiang Mai you will see one of its landmarks, Wat Doi Suthep, you visit an Elephant Camp and the famous handicraft villages. On the way to Sukothai stop in Lampang and Lamphun to visit cultural sights. In Sukothai, the first capital of the old Siam, visit the famous Historical Park. The tour ends in Phitsanuloke.

TOUR ITINERARY

Day 1 Chiang Mai
Arrive at Chiang Mai airport, transfer to Hotel. Afternoon depart from the Hotel to visit Wat Phratat Doi Suthep, one of the most important and visible landmarks of the region, located on 1050m above sea level. From the temple area with its Golden Chedi you will enjoy a spectacular view of the city. Return to the Hotel. Overnight in Chiang Mai.

Day 2 Chiang Mai ( B / L )
After breakfast depart from the Hotel direction north of Chiang Mai to visit an Elephant Camp where you will see what work the animals do in the forests. Then proceed to an Orchid Farm. After lunch drive to the handicraft villages. The handicraft centers of Chiang Mai are world-famous and offer a wide variety of products. Visit an Umbrella Making Centre, a Silk Factory and a Wood Carving centre. You can watch the workers practicing their skills and might even find some good bargains to add to your souvenirs. Back to the Hotel and evening at leisure. Overnight at Chiang Mai.

Day 3 Chiang Mai - Sukhothai ( B / L)
After breakfast at the Hotel, check out and depart Chiang Mai to Lamphun. Stop at Wat Phratat Hariphunchai, one of the most sacred temples of the country. It dates back to the 9th Century. Afterwards drive to Lampang to visit the the well known Wat Phratat Lampang Luang, a temple of Burmese Architecture. Continue to Sukhothai. After lunch visit Wat Mahatat, the Museum and Wat Sri Chum in the Historical Park of the old city of Sukhothai (the dawn of happiness). Sukhothai was the capital of the first large Thai kingdom developed in central Siam during the12th Century. Overnight in Sukhothai.

Day 4 Sukhothai - Phitsanuloke ( B )
Breakfast and check out from the Hotel. Drive to Phitsanuloke where you will visit Wat Phrasri Rattana Mahatat, a famous temple which hosts one of the most beautiful Buddha statues in Thailand. Continue to Phitsanuloke Airport. From there further arrangements can be easily organized.
