TOUR ITINERARY
Day 1: Bangkok - Chumporn (-)
Pick up from hotel in Bangkok and transfer to Hualamphong station for the train to the South. Pass through the suburbs of this megacity and the adjacent countryside and arrive Chumphon in the evening for accommodation at a town hotel.
Day 2: Chumporn - Surat Thani (B/L)
Morning drive to Chaiya, the old capital of the Srivijaya Kingdom. Visit Wat Phra Boro Mahadhat and go on to Phum Riang, a silk weaving village. Stop at Wat Suan Mokh, the most famous meditation temple of the South and reach Surat Thani in the evening for accommodation at a town hotel.
Day 3: Surat Thani - Krabi (B/L)
Observe how monkeys are trained to pick up coconuts, pass through fruit plantations, showing the wide range of tropical fruits along Khao Luang National Park and reach Krabi in the afternoon. Stop at Wat Tham Suea, the Monastery in the Tiger Cave and visit the famous Shell Fossil Cemetery before arrival to Krabi for accommodation in a town hotel.
Day 4: Krabi - Phuket (B/L)
Visit Than Bok Khoranee Park and start from a nearby pier for a fascinating boat trip to hidden caves in the mangrove forest (NOT TO overcrowded James Bond Island !) Stop at a temple built inside a limestone cave enshrining numerous Buddha images and reach Phuket island in the evening for end at Phuket airport or the chosen hotel.
